From first consultation to surgery, to post operative care our team of surgeons and their support staff will care for you along the way.
When your doctor has become aware of a condition which requires surgical intervention, they will refer you to an appropriate surgeon. You may specify your preference for one of our surgeons. Non urgent Vascular Surgery referrals may be faxed to Edmonton Zone FAST program(780) 409-0607. For urgent Vascular referrals please contact Raapid North or call 911. For General Surgery referrals, please ask your Family Doctor to fax a referral to the Edmonton zone FAST program (780)670-3224
which will then be forwarded to our clinic.
At your consultation appointment, the Surgeon will assess your condition and determine the best course of treatment. If your medical condition requires surgical intervention, you will be booked for a surgery. Most elective surgeries are done at the Grey Nuns hospital.
Our Surgeons offer virtual appointments by phone or video for many non urgent consults
Our team will ensure you are well prepared for your surgery. You will be instructed of any pre-surgery routines or requirements, as well as what to expect on the day of surgery.
After your surgery, you will be booked for follow up appointments as required to ensure proper healing and successful surgical treatment of your condition. Post op appointments can be done virtually in many cases if there are no concerns and healing is as expected. Patients have the option to have an in person appointment if preferred.
